Grade Time Standards
What they mean
Grade time standards are meant to be used as a motivator for each athlete. When setting goals for the season swimmers should focus on these times. A swimmer can fulfill the performance requirement to earn a Varsity letter by achieving 4 of these times throughout the season.
The time standards get progressively faster each grade year. Achieving these times puts you at or near the top half of all GCA swimmers in school history in each grade.
